After a lot of requests to run less elaborate, more moderately priced ‘entry level’ sessions, I’ve finally put together a Headshot Session that I’m happy with.

What I’ve come up with are the Superpower Headshot Sessions that I’ll be running here at my home studio in Brisbane.

What to expect from your session…

In order to make the most Impactful, Authentic & Meaningful images, there is a lot of tinkering and personalising in this process. First of all, I need to understand you and how you move/ express yourself…. And there is a lot you need to learn about how to hold yourself and show up on camera.

It’s also very common to try two or three different outfits because clothes show up very differently on camera than they do in ‘real life’. As well as any hair/makeup tweaks or changes.

This session goes FAST. Even though it’s a 60 minute session most of it is trial & error. So there is only about 20-30 minutes where we are getting ‘the real thing’.

We generally find 2 (maybe 3) distinct/ different shots and in the end you can generally expect somewhere around 10-20 ‘Selects’ (really exceptional images that tick all the boxes) worth choosing from.

THIS SESSION IS PERFECT if you want an easy, super-powerful updated headshot (and a super sweet deal compared to all my other sessions).

THIS SESSION IS an amazing opportunity to begin your personal branding journey. It’s a great way to start working with me and “test” my process and results. And it’s an incredible way to begin to understand your own body language and start learning how to effectively express yourself both on camera and in real life.

THIS SESSION IS a turn up, ready to go headshot session. We are not organising pro hair/ makeup here. Bring 2 or 3 changes of clothes. There’s a bathroom that you can use to change and do any hair/ makeup touchups.

THIS SESSION IS NOT a complete personal branding overhaul. If you want to deep dive on your messaging… If you are trying to populate an entire website… If you think you want lots of wardrobe changes or a bunch of completely different shots/ set ups, this is the wrong session.

During your 60 minute session we will:

1. Find your most flattering posture and position to highlight your positives and diminish the things you don’t love

2. Show you how to connect through the camera in order to help you connect with your audience in a way you never knew possible.

3. Tinker with a variety expressions to help you communicate with real authenticity
