I was struggling to make a more “basic” session that delivers something truly exceptional for you AND is creatively fulfilling for me.

What I’ve come up with are the Superpower Headshot Sessions.  They are basically headshot sessions on STEROIDS.  These are the very first part of all my Signature Sessions.  So if you aren’t ready for one of those - but still want the very best in the biz - now’s your chance!

A Headshot Session on STEROIDS - How it Flows

The session begins the same as all my Signature Sessions… We start with the Classic ‘Head and Shoulders’ style Headshot.

As always, we experiment as I direct you through a range of motion to discover how you move & express yourself naturally; as well as different ways you tend to express yourself best on camera.

After that we are ready to step it up and start adding some basic body language into the images with various sitting/ standing/ leaning poses and postures which is all determined by how you move and what you’re trying to communicate.

And as always, every session with me includes:

+ Clear, simple and precise direction every step of the way - This is all about physicalising our intention. So I show you exactly how to do all the qualities you want to portray - confident, approachable, trustworthy, etc.

+ Continuous, instant feedback on the computer monitor - There's no mystery here. We keep a close eye on our progress along the way which actually gives you more confidence, allowing us to fine-tune your message as we go.

What to expect from your session…

In order to make the most Impactful, Authentic & Meaningful images, there is a lot of tinkering and personalising in this process. First of all, I need to understand you and how you move/ express yourself…. And there is a lot you need to learn about how to hold yourself and show up on camera.

It’s also very common to try two or three different outfits because clothes show up very differently on camera than they do in ‘real life’. As well as any hair/makeup tweaks or changes.

This session goes FAST. Even though it’s a 60 minute session most of it is trial & error. So there is only about 20-30 minutes where we are getting ‘the real thing’.

We generally find 2 (maybe 3) distinct/ different shots (set ups) and within each shot I can guarantee an incredibly wide variety of expression which I coach you through if you’re willing to play along with my process.

In the end you can generally expect somewhere around 10-20 ‘Selects’ (really exceptional images that tick all the boxes) worth choosing from.

THIS IS NOT a complete personal branding overhaul. If you want to deep dive on your messaging… If you are trying to populate an entire website… If you think you want lots of wardrobe changes or a bunch of completely different shots/ set ups, this is the wrong session.
